The aluminium sticks give the bug net extra lift, so you get more room and a more open, airy feel when you lie in your Draumr hammock.

You don't need the sticks to use the hammock – it works fine without them, or with sticks of a suitable length that you find in nature. The aluminium sticks are the quick and easy option: always the right length, and always in the stuff sack.

  • Lift the bug net and give more room around your head and feet
  • Fit the pockets at the head and foot end of your Draumr hammock – check that your hammock has these pockets
  • Curved shape that follows the profile of the hammock
  • Fold up and fit in the stuff sack
  • After use: wipe clean, let dry and fold

Two aluminium sticks come with Draumr 5.0 and Draumr Ultralight, and four with Draumr Double. This is a spare part if you have damaged or lost the ones that came with your hammock.

Dimensions

Each stick is 45 cm (17.7 in) long when assembled and 24 cm (9.5 in) when folded – one section slides into the other, so the folded length is more than half. The stick diameter is 7 mm (0.3 in).
