Product description

Skjold 10 is a lightweight Silicone Nylon Tarp that comes with guylines and stakes. Skjold 10 is perfect for your outdoor adventure and will protect you and your gear from the elements.   • The tarp's lightweight fabric is extremely strong for its weight, and the slippery siliconized surface has an improved ability to shed water and snow.
  • Skjold 10 is ready to be deployed between two trees or set up using your trekking poles or sticks.
  • Reflective guylines, adjusters and micro carabiners are pre-attached.
  • Six lightweight stakes are included, all with reflective pull cords, making them easier to spot in the dark.
  • Skjold 10 packs easy by stuffing it into the generous stuff sack.

FAQs

Everything you need to set it up! The tarp comes with a suspension system, guylines, and tarp stakes. Seam sealer is also included if you need to seam seal your tarp.

The Skjold 10 tarp comes with all the parts for easy plug and play. Guylines are attached to eight points on the tarp. Two of the guylines have small carabiners attached for Draumr setup. The stuff sack has a small pocket containing 6 stakes for attaching the remaining guylines.

The tarp has reinforced corners for tarp-poles or a stick if that's your weapon of choice. This allows you to pitch the tarp in "porch-mode" which gives you a nice view of your surroundings while protected from the weather.

Move the carabiners around (or add more) for a different setup.

Skjold 13 is approximately 30% larger than Skjold 10. The numbers behind "Skjold" are an indication of square meters, meaning that Skjold 10 is approx. 10 square meters and Skjold 13 is approx. 13 square meters.

  • Compared to Skjold 10, Skjold 13 has a more rectangular shape, but you can still pull the corners of the tarp inwards to create doors and better shelter against the weather.
  • Skjold 10 has one long seam going from head- to foot end, Skjold 13 has two seams going across.
  • Skjold 13 comes with our new silicone guyline-holders pre-attached. They make it even easier keeping your guylines in place and untangled during transportation.
  • Skjold 13 is made from 15D Nylon DRS. Skjold 10 is made from 40D Nylon DRS.
  • Both tarps are treated with silicone which makes them great at shedding snow and rain. The water column for both tarps is 3000 mm.
  • Skjold 10 and Skjold 13 come with their own stuff sack, 6 aluminium stakes, 8 guylines and two small carabiners that indicate suspension points for use with our Draumr hammocks.
