    Orders ship with DHL Express from our storage in Norway.

    • Orders are sent the same day, or the following business day after you've placed your order.
    • Shipping to Switzerland normally takes 2-4 days. Add a few more if you live in a remote area.
    • Pick up of orders at the warehouse is not possible. (But hey, If you are in eastern Norway at some point, send us a message and we'll welcome you to our headquarter in Fredrikstad if the timing is right.)
    • We offer free shipping on all orders over 200 CHF. The shipping cost is 14,95 CHF for orders under 200 CHF.
    • All customs duties, import taxes, and Swiss VAT are already included in the price. The price you see at checkout is the final price. You will not receive any additional bills for customs or handling fees upon delivery.
    • There is no separate express shipping option as we offer shipping with DHL Express which is one of the fastest available options out there.

This is our second-generation Fjøl sleeping pad with technical enhancements and improved insulation. It has an impressive R-value of 4.1 which makes it ideal for 3-season use, including cold nights in spring and fall.

All Fjøl pads come in a stuff sack for transportation, a pump bag for inflation and a repair kit should you be unlucky on the trail.

Yes, all our sleeping pads can be used in tents or on the ground, as long as you ensure that the sleeping pad is protected against potentially harmful objects such as pointy branches, rocks, etc. We recommend using a groundsheet or similar underneath the sleeping pad if used directly on the ground. Remember to dry your pad after every use, and to never store it wet.

Stains from direct contact with hair/skin are not uncommon; it happens to sleeping bags, jackets, etc. as well, over time. You can try cleaning the spot with lukewarm water and some mild detergent (the one you use for wool, for instance), but we can't guarantee it'll completely disappear. Luckily, the pad will work just fine, even with some stains on it. Make sure you let the pad dry completely before packing and storing it.

The R-value is based on tests done according to the ASTM F3340-22 standard. The R-value says something about the resistance in a product/material. When we talk about R-value and sleeping pads, it indicates how well the insulation resists heat loss. The higher the number, the higher the resistance, and less heat loss.
