Skjold 10 er en lettvektstarp som kommer med barduner og plugger, alt du trenger for å sette opp tarpen, enten over hengekøya di eller en egnet soveplass på bakken. En tarp kan også gi ekstra beskyttelse til et telt som begynner å dra på årene, eller skape en fin, overdekket uteplass foran teltinngangen. Skjold 10 beskytter deg og utstyret ditt mot elementene.

  • Tarpens stoff er ekstremt sterkt til å være så lett, og den glatte overflaten gjør at regn og snø preller av.
  • Skjold 10 settes opp mellom to trær eller ved hjelp av turstaver eller pinner.
  • Justeringsspennene er ekstra sklisikre og enkle å justere - ingen knuter er nødvendig.
  • Barduner med refleks, justeringssystem og små karabinkroker er festet på tarpen.
  • Seks lettvekts aluminiumssplugger er inkludert, alle med reflekterende snorer slik at de blir lettere å få øye på i mørket.
  • Skjold 10 er enklest å pakke ved å stappe den ned i pakkposen.
  • Tarpen er perfekt for hengekøyene Draumr 5.0, Draumr UL, Segl XL og Draumr Double, samt for minimalistene som foretrekker å sove rett på bakken.

Everything you need to set it up! The tarp comes with a suspension system, guylines, and tarp stakes. Seam sealer is also included if you need to seam seal your tarp.

The Skjold tarps come with all parts for easy plug and play. Guylines are attached to eight points on the tarp. Two of the guylines have small carabiners attached for Draumr setup. The stuff sack has a small pocket containing 6 stakes for securing the remaining guylines.

The tarp has reinforced corners for tarp-poles or a stick if that's your weapon of choice. This allows you to pitch the tarp in "porch-mode" which gives you a nice view of your surroundings while protected from the weather.

Move the carabiners around (or add more) for a different setup.

The total weight for Skjold 10 UL is 520 g / 18,3 oz. The normal Skjold 10 has a total weight of 655 g/ 23 oz.

Skjold UL has a bright blue color (midnight blue), while Skjold 10 comes in Dark Grey.

Both tarps are solid and waterproof and they are manufactured in the same way. Skjold UL is made of a slightly thinner fabric but is nearly as robust as Skjold 10.

You don’t need to seam-seal your tarp for general use, but we recommend it if you expect heavy or sustained rain. The tarp is made from high-quality silicone-coated fabric, which is extremely waterproof. However, the seams - like with all silicone tarps - can still allow some water through.

That’s why we include a seam sealing kit. Applying it is a one-time process: just stretch out the tarp, apply the sealer along the seams, and let it dry for at least 24 hours. It's a bit of work, but it ensures your tarp is 100% waterproof.

Our manufacturing partners don’t pre-seal the seams because the process is time-consuming and requires a lot of space, sealing it yourself gives you maximum protection when conditions get rough.
