Recommended sleeping pads for Draumr and Draumr Ultralight hammocks
The Amok Draumr hammock is designed to be used together with an inflatable sleeping pad for ultimate comfort and insulation. Together with the hammock structure, the inflatable pad gives the Draumr hammock its unique flat lay. You don't need an underquilt in the Draumr as the the pad insulates from below and keeps you warm. Inside the hammock there is a pocket that holds your sleeping pad in place.

(The Draumr-XL hammocks must be used with one of our 87 in (220 cm) long sleeping pads), as shown to the right in the picture above.)
Draumr-hammocks in standard length (LW) must be used with a sleeping pad that is approximately 78 x 25.5 x 3.5 in (198 cm x 65 cm x 9 cm) – these dimensions are known as the industry standard Long Wide (LW). This means that you can use the Draumr with one of our LW-pads, or you can use pads from other brands if they have the same size and construction. See further recommendations below.
Recommended

Sleeping pads with tubes going lengthwise work better because they help stretch the hammock fabric. Make sure you use a rectangular pad, not a "mummy" shaped one.
Varying comfort
Inflatable pads with tubes going across are not recommended. They can work if they have an especially firm structure. You can see a few recommendations on pads like this in the overview below.
Not recommended
Thin inflatable pads or regular foam pads will not work.
